I'm a Communications Specialist and Freelance Publicist. A sometime blogger and infrequent poet, I graduated from the University of Leeds, UK,in 2007 with a Master of Arts in International Journalism. Prior to that, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities (English Literature) from the University of Calgary in 2005.

The majority of my writing (done outside work) over the past several years, has consisted of film and theatre reviews, and opinion pieces - largely political or on issues of gender equality. I have written little for my personal blog and for The Huffington Post Alberta, where I am still a little-active blogger. This past year (2016), I have enhanced my focus on career and skill development, increasing my knowledge base of communications planning and best practices, leadership, and development. I'm also pursuing creative writing development opportunities, and am beginning to write fiction for the first time in many years.
