I suddenly thought about your story Of Fire and Blood that I never got to finish, I loved it when I was younger. I'm so sad to see that its gone and what a ghosttown this profile has become. I don't know if you are still around to see this but I just want you to know that I loved your story and I would love to read it again someday, whatever the circumstances (I see some people in this community page saying that you were hoping to get it published?)

@cara557 there was a completed version once but she wanted to develp it more and I think get it published(can't really remember, its been a long while). Basically she wanted to edit it so she took it off and brough it back as a second draft

I'm one of the people who finished the first draft of Of Fire abd Blood,it's a really amazing book!And then I read the rewrite after some time coming back to youe profile I must say it's awesome,but I love the first draft more.Why?The first showing us Silus going to the honey oak stairs to become a soldier was the reason I started reading.The rewritten chapter though,felt fast.Fast because in the old draft,I can even see Silus do things in,it played out so well like a movie!The thrill,his excitement,resentment,anger,fear and the sadness when he found out his mom's secret,levi's love for him when he potected him,when he found the sword,the dream he had looking out to the high lands,I felt it all,your writing is so amazing it was the best I ever read!You made me cry,laugh,get angry I almost threw my phone at the wall when his deaf bestfriend died,I cant remember his name!And the ending!Arggh!I wanna feel it all again after 8 months passed see if I could relive it but such was my disappointment when that feeling was gone.I'm not saying your writing is bad!It's wonderful and beautiful how you can weave words to create a reality but at the second draft the feeling was gone.I didn't care how long it would take me to finish one chapter back then,heck I even reread it again!I dont care how much time it'll take no matter how long because only once will a book make me feel like this.So can I please request you publish the first draft again?I wanna read with that feeling again I felt,it was amazing.And only your book made me feel it,it was perfect.
I also feel new readers may become confused how fast the story escalated in the first chapter.But anyway,thanks for making me read such an amazing story,I'm happy I had the chance to be able to read it despite the updates,my favorite was the vodelig chap.Did I spell it right?I cant remember.But that one with the fire bearded guy he called and they bonded. :)Thanks again though.

@MileeBlue Always great to hear from fans, and let me start by saying thank you so much for reading the first draft to its completion— it was truly a labour of love for me and it’s wonderful to hear your thoughts and experiences. I am truly sorry you feel the magic, and heart of what made the first draft feel so special for you is gone. That was never my intention. Do you mind if I ask where abouts you are up to on this current draft? All I can say in my defence is that I’m still figuring the story out. I loved the first draft, but I still need to find tune the pacing (it suffered from a lagging middle) and the character arcs. At this stage I have no plans to re-release the first draft, but I promise to consider it at length, once this draft is done. I removed the going into town to try and become a soldier aspect because Silus is an outcast from birth— this is true in both drafts, and I couldn’t reconcile his pariah status with them simply considering him as guard material. So instead I have chosen to focus more on his goal to find a place to belong, and the great lengths he is willing to cross to make that a reality— his and Bra’ag’s (the Fire bearded guy) relationship changes drastically because of this, hence his introduction in the first chapter, as it is he that offers Silus that. Side note, yep, that’s how you spell Vodelig haha l. Good work. I truly hope you’ll bear with the story a little while longer, as where I’m up to (writing chapter 10 as we speak) I’m really starting to dive back into the relationships that so many ppl loved. Silus, Tamra, and Stump (the best friend.) will be focused on in greater detail here, as I have decided to break down the plot of the first draft into two books so as not to overload the readers.

The sequel will be some time. I haven’t even started penning an outline for the second book. My goal is to get this first one as great as I can before moving on
