Hi there I just finished reading your book on horror stories and I wanted to send one that happened to me when I was very young. When I was around six or seven years old my mom and I lived alone since my father was always out for business. Some times during the night we would hear the chirping of birds outside our window but we didn't pay much attention to it since in Nigeria it was nothing to us ,that was until we started finding dead birds on our windows outside. My mother called a pastor but we are Muslims and I was really young so i didn't understand what was going on. After the man had told my mom what to do we didn't have any more problems. One day while my mom was undressing me after she had picked me up from school the sky was a little dark but it was he raining season which was normal,  I moved away from her for a little bit so I could take of my singlet. As ideas about to raise it over my head she screamed my name and opened her arms wide, I'm not sure what got into me at that time but I convinced myself it was fear and I ran into her arms. Immediately I was wrapped in her arms blue lightning struck the exact same spot were on had been standing before. My mother began to cry but I didn't know  how to react. After I had gained my senses I looked up at her and wondered how she had seen the lightning coming before it wanted to hit me. Till this day i try not to think to deep into presently I'm fourteen and I still love don't know how it happened. I may seem weird but after this  two years later I experienced I close to death encounter and a broke arm but since I turned ten noting out of the ordinary has happened but I still tend to have very weird and scary nightmares
