This is a message I'd like to convey to all aspiring authors out there in Wattpad's community.
~ You can write exceptionally beyond belief if you stick to originality. Be creative. Use that wonderful brain of yours to bring a whole dimension of your own design to life through words. You don't need to use other people's works to do that for you. Yes, using them as reference to improve your skills, and for inspiration? There's nothing wrong with that. But you do not need to plagerize.
When you plagerize, not only are you undermining your capabilities, but the original author's as well. They wrote the novels, reports, poems, stories, and many more forms of literature not for you to copy+paste them and to pass them on as your own, but for you and all the other readers out there to enjoy. By reading, by submerging into the world of whatever character is included in the context and just soaking in the plot and story, sympathizing with the protagonist or even the antagonist. That is what these wonderful novels and stories are for.
~ Please don't ruin the beauty of literature by a petty action such as plagerism. Please keep things original and creative. And to whoever's reading this message, if you agree, please pass it on. The esteemed authors of Wattpad don't need their contributions to be abused by "Copy+paste". Let's put an end to plagerism and improve our community.
