I love speculative fiction, all genre fiction, historical fiction and non-fiction, science of all types and...did I leave out anything...oh, yeah, I occasionally read the mangas that I can steal from my teenage son.

After spending a few idyllic early childhood years near Clemson, South Carolina, we moved to rural New Jersey where we lived in several small towns until emigrating to Dallas, Texas. I was born a city girl, in Philly, and after living in Dallas and Chicago, have permanently relocated to Germany in a semi-rural town with easy access to the million-strong city of Cologne. 

I am fascinated both by the two millenium-long history of the city and how this history still pervades and influences the inhabitants and the culture.

I write speculative fiction - mainly fantasy and science fiction at this time.
