Shawn Davis grew up in the small town of Holliston, Massachusetts. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Salem State University, and he works as a police officer in a small New England town. He also worked as a police lieutenant at a New England College for eleven years. Shawn's background in law enforcement lends authenticity to his crime thrillers.

Shawn has written eight books in a variety of genres, but his most popular suspense/crime thriller, Diary of a Serial Killer, was released in March, 2014 (he started writing books in 1990, so it ONLY took him 24 years to finally get a hit! Lesson: don't give up!) and has continued to receive consistent positive reviews on amazon from horror fans, crime novel fans, and fans from a variety of genres. 

His next most popular novel is the sequel to Diary of a Serial Killer (Book I in the Serial Killer Series). Book II in the series, Diary of a Serial Killer II: Ice Man, features a newer, deadlier killer with a far more lethal modus operandi and signature. The second book takes place ten year later and features the return of the 17-year-old female victim-turned-heroine, Tracey Randall, from the first book returning as a detective to track down and confront a far more dangerous killer than she faced before.

Shawn is also the co-author of the real-life WW II adventure, Never Surrender, with his Great Uncle and protagonist of the story, Earl Anderson. Never Surrender is the true story of Earl's incredible experiences fighting the Japanese in the Philippines and then surviving for three and a half years as a POW in Yokohama, Japan. Never Surrender is a tribute all the courageous veterans who risked and sacrificed their lives so we all can enjoy freedom.
