The urge to rewrite a large portion of Nothing Left to Lose, specifically the whole "Roman finds the blueprints and messes things up with Virgil" part to more original and interesting.I've always found it to be too similar to Kam's book, especially that part, and am tempted to rewrite it, not necessarily changing the conflict and yelling. Instead, I'd probably change the aftermath (Virgil sneaking out and nearly getting got by Jan and Remus) to have them reveal they were able to track him, and so now they've found him, but also know where Lo, Pat, and Ro live. So, action ensues and V has to alert/protect those 3, close battle yada yada. This would have much more effect than the not very dramatic or tense apology arc Roman goes on, and much more consequences. Because now Pat, Lo, and Ro have to find a new place to live, all the while Roman's being kind of huffy and sad about V, because "damnit he's actually not selling us out"
Agghhhhhhhh maybe someday
