For all Raising Isaiah readers/fans I want to apologize for my loooonnngggg hiatus from this story here on Wattpad. As I’ve gotten older (I’ll be 28 next month ) the direction of Symone and Zeke’s story no longer reflects who I am as a writer. Although the message isn’t too far off from the original I’ve been working on a private new draft of “Raising Isaiah” for the past year. Originally I was going to finish the version I wrote here on Wattpad but to be honest as I read back through this version I’ve outgrown the plot line and some of it is a bit comical. But I honor the 18-25 year old woman who wrote it. The one who believed that pregnancy stories centered around Black people didn’t have to center poverty, disparity or negative stereotypes of Black people. (Even though those stories are very real too). However the version I’m working on currently better reflects my current mindset and skill set as an author and examines faith, relationships, sex, religion and love exponentially better than before. This new version will be published as an actual hard copy book and hopefully will be available 2024. I will announce here when it is released and I hope you all will purchase.

“Where the Concrete is Jaded” will also be published following “Raising Isaiah”.

I would like to add Wattpad on as another stream of income for me as I am currently pursuing freelance writing so I will be publishing short stories and other full fiction stories here in the new future. The next story I will publish here will be a post-apocalyptic horror centering a mother, her three young daughters and a world terrorized by zombies and human gangs. Very walking dead-esque. So look out for that!

Thank you all for your support over the last 10 years! Appreciate you all and hope you stay tuned for my other works. Love you and God bless you. ♥️

Y’all comments are cheering me up. I’m working on the next chapters as we speak.

I really wanna roll these chapters out and get them done for you all.

Although it’s hard to write these days, I’m going to push through.
