Chapter 2:
I watched Dad slip his shoes on and put on his jacket. "Where are you going Daddy?" He eyes locked to mine. He kneeled down to become my height, a three years old's height. "Daddy has to leave." He replied with his strong but gently voice. We were all crowding around the front door, Mom, Dad, Kyle and I. The stood in silence. Dad stroked my hair. "But WHERE are you going Daddy?!" I asked him. He paused. "Greysyn, everybody has there own problems, and it's their choice how to deal with it. They can choose the right or wrong choice. Mommy and I are having problems so I'm choosing the right choice, and it is to leave. You probably don't understand now, but you will later." With that said, he stood up, glanced at my mom, then Kyle and I, and left. He was gone. Dad was right. I didn't understand, but know I do.
