Well.... They found me. I've been in detention for the last several months. I did well and hid my tracks. They didn't know about the copies of the audio recording I made, and I hid all of them well. 
          
          In the end I was able to convince them that I was travelling for work and writing as I went. I put in place enough bread crumbs that they had to believe me... and let me go. 
          
          I'm going back to Kazakhstan to visit some old churches. I should be able to continue writing the transcript. The plane is boarding... Chat later friends.

It's been an interesting few weeks. I was in the hospital with covid - on a ventilator. It was touch and go for a while there. Denmark has incredible healthcare and I recovered very well. I'm still feeling it, but they tell me that I will have a full recovery. 
          
          I'm going to keep transcribing the audio file as time permits. Hopefully, I have the energy to post tomorrow.

It's been longer than I expected. After transcribing the lastest chunk, I decided to with till the new year to post. I should be off their radar right now. I hope to post another chapter this week.

I'm safe. I can finally transcribe more of the audio file. The next chapter is much smaller, you'll understand why.

It's been a crazy 10 days! I've had to keep traveling and I realized that being in a foreign country was maybe not the easiest way to stay in hiding. I'm now back in the US. 
          
          I have updated the prologue since many people were contacting me confused about what this is all about. So please re-read the prologue. It should clear up any questions. If not, post a message on the passages that you need help with. I'll do my best to clear it up.
          
          Also... There was a problem with the audio file. I was reviewing the next section to decide where to end the "chapter", and the audio started failing. It was partially corrupted due to some kind of signal loss. I reached out to an audio engineer that I trusted and we were able to recover a good portion of the recording at that timestamp.
          
          I hope to post another chapter in the next day or so. Take care out there!

I thought I was safe in Milan. I was very wrong. It's taken several days, but I'm now in Jarkata. I think I'll be here for a few days so I'll be able to release the next transcript tomorrow.

I landed in Milan, Italy...I thought it would be safe to post. I decided to change hotels. It was a good thing too - they were waiting for me in the lobby of the Four Seasons Milano .
          
          I ended up at a different hotel - blame my paranoia - which turned out to be a very good thing. I'm now on my way to an undisclosed location to meet with a data specialist. The recording medium for this audio file prevents duplication. It also can't be recorded through a microphone, I tried.
          
          It is my hope that in a day or so I'll be able to post a new chapter. And maybe if I'm lucky, by the end of the week I'll have a second copy of the recording. I listened ahead a bit and holy moly do things get interesting! Stay tuned and remember to comment on passages and to vote.

Hello.. I was going to post today, but I AM being followed. Somehow they found me. 
          
          I managed to escape the pincer trap they had waiting for me. I'm at an airport now waiting for my flight. I think I'm safe for now, but I don't want to risk posting the next transcription until tomorrow. 
          
          I found a way to use a burner phone to send data with my laptop. Hopefully this will keep them from finding me.

Hello! I managed to pop into an internet cafe to post Chapter 5: Confessions. I have to keep moving  to different locals so the next chapter is a few days away.
          
          Remember to click that star to vote for each chapter. And please do comment on the transcription. The faster this gets out the more I write.

Just a heads up: I'll be transcribing the audio recordings every few days. So that means a chapter or two per week. 
          
          I will change the names of the actual people in to story to that of my readers with the most comments in each chapter. While I say that, I'm not sure how many people are in the transcription. 
          
          I would love to hear your thoughts on what you think is happening and where the transcript is heading. I have no idea where this is going, other than at some point the digital file will be sent into the past somehow.
          
          Oh... if there are a couple of weeks without an update, I'm probably on the move. If I get caught... At the very least, I'll try to post here to let you know I'm safe.
