Shellblaze

Hey y’all. I know I haven’t been active AT ALL for a few months but that’s because school was taking a lot of my time and I was admittedly in a huge writers block whoops. BUT it was the last day of the semester so now I’m free from school work! YIPPE!! I started rereading the story again (because it’s been a while and is it bad to say I don’t remember some things in my own story oof) and now I have motivation to get something done. Rn I’m standing at 3k words for the next chapter, so a little more than halfway done. My goal is to get it out by the end of the year AND I WILL I PROMISE I WORKED ON SOME TODAY!
          
          Just an update because I kind disappeared on y’all lol

Sorry I’ve been so inactive and haven’t updated Night Tears IN ALMOST SIX WEEKS WHAT!? I only have 1k words and it is gonna be a long chapter so it’ll take longer but I’m determined to finish it soon (maybe the middle of next month but I’m not sure). I miss Nightpaw and his stupid little self. 
          
          I started college last week and it has drained all my energy and fried my brain sm that all I want to do when I get home is lay on my bed. So when I get used to this whole school thing I’m definitely starting my writing again hehe

Okay so I have been thinking about what I would do after I finished Night Tears (that will be a good while) BUT I have two ideas. A prequel and a sequel. 
          
          Now hear me out, the past few chapters that I wrote had Birchstorm in it and for some odd reason I started to really like him. Then in my mind I was like, “wouldn’t it be funny if him and Leafstar have history together?” And I thought that was a revolutionary idea lol. So like any normal person, I started to plan out an entire freaking story around that thought. So if I do do this story (which is likely) it will be focused on Birchstorm (main character), Leafstar (secondary main character), and Coalblaze (he’ll have a few chapters to himself). This one will probably just as long, if not longer, than Night Tears, and it’ll be named “Birch Leaves’ hehe, get it hehe. 
          
          I started planning the sequel before the prequel, but “Birch Leaves” gave me MUCH more inspiration so this one will have to wait (probably). I’ve had little ideas for this one, which follows the events after Night Tears. I…cant really talk about it without spoiling the first books so for now I will say the main character will be a cat called Dawnpaw and she’s the future daughter of Green and Sugar :)
          
          Bro when I say I’m so excited to start on Birch Leaves I mean it. Like, I already got the freaking cat list (I forgot what it’s called lol) and almost started writing it. But I’m going to wait, Night Tears is my priority and I’m 100% going to finish that one before starting on a new one, don’t worry. Plus, it’s just getting good :)
          
          Just putting my thoughts out there because I’ve been brainstorming real hard lately

So umm…. My monthly deadline for updating “Night Tears” is ending tomorrow and I’m definitely not going to be able to do it in time. Right now I only have 2k words and the chapter is no where near over, it’s a longer one than usual (it’s like two chapters in one). Yeah writers block SUCKS. So ummmm… for the two people who are reading this, just wanted to let y’all know lol
          
          But I’m DEFINITELY gonna update it sometime in March, but I’m not sure when. Hopefully soon :)
