It has been brought to our attention by many users and the Mumbles page that a lot of users are creating accounts to 'roleplay' as celebrities or famous people. While this is a clever and innovative way to use movellas, we do have a specific forum area of people to 'roleplay' characters from books, films, television or the celebrity world. Most accounts identify that they are a roleplay or impersonation account through a 'verified tick'.
Because it is becoming apparent that these roleplay accounts are detracting from the overall experience of the majority of users on Movellas, we have decided that accounts roleplaying through Mumbles will have their comments deleted and be issued with a warning. If they continue to do this, we will have no choice but to delete the account.
We are passionate about storytelling, reading and writing, and these are the things we prioritise over everything else. Although this is an imaginative twist on fan fiction and is certianly creative, the way it clutters the Mumbles page creates a bad experience for everyone and the place for it is in our forum area. It is with all this in mind that we came to this decision.
