I’m not sure if anyone can help but i was reading a book that was ongoing but now it’s gone and of course I can’t remember the name or author. The first book was about 2 brothers that lived across the street from a little girl, who was younger, and her brothers. Long story short, as the kids grow up the brothers across the street claim her as theirs. The little girl is getting abused by her father and once the boys and her brothers find out they kill him. Her brothers are running like a local gang until the Dad of the boys across the street comes from Italy to take them home. He turns out to take the girl that the two boys have claimed and raise her as well. He’s the Don for the Italian mafia and grooms his sons to take over while training the girl in torture. 
          There’s still so much more that happens in this first book and second one is on going, but I do t want to give away too much more. I would love to finish it or continue reading it as the author finishes but I have no way to find out who it was. I think the second one was called Finding Winter?
          Any help would be awesome.
