Someone asked me once: Why do you write and what doesit mean to you? I was like oohhh thats easy and then as I was about to answer I stopped. I thought and I thought about it. All I could say was one word. One VERY VAGUE and UNHELPFUL answer. I said the words "self-expression". I've been thinking about it and i cant really come up with anything concise. This is what I've come up with. Writing is a mirror to my inner self. My desires, my pain, my life, my needs, and everything that is a part of me. That's why its sometimes easy to figure out an author by reading through a few sentences of their work. No matter how tainted or disfigured the writing may seem its still a reflection of their identity. My writing is a reflection of my identity.
