TDRB Chapter Progress Update:
          
          I have successfully written half of the first scene… and that is, unfortunately, where my productivity ended eheh.
          
          I’ve been getting distracted quite easily during weekend, and writing this particular chapter has also felt a little emotionally heavy, especially with homework joining. So, progress has been slower than I would have liked, I'm sorry.
          
          However, I am NOT giving up. I may be fighting distractions, homework, and my own emotions at the moment, but I shall return to it.

          So i'm here to say that i'll be a bit busy for a while since it's quiz week for me, and exams are coming up next week. That also means chapter updates might take a little longer than usual.
          
          Honestly, it's even more painful for me because I'm so excited to write the next chapter. I already have the scene planned out, and I can't wait to share it with you all. ✨
          
          On a happier note, August 7 marks the 2nd anniversary of TDRB! ❤️ I still can't believe this story is already two years old.

          Well, it went out around 2 AM because I scheduled it... and then I completely forgot because I was already asleep by midnight after finishing my homework ahah. 
          
          On another note, I've been watching a few writing-related videos on YouTube lately, and one comment I kept hearing surprised me, that some readers only pay attention to the dialogue and skim or skip everything else.
          
          As someone who loves writing stories, that honestly made me a little sad.
          
          To me, a novel is more than conversations. The narration, descriptions, atmosphere, worldbuilding, character thoughts, and all those little details are what make the story feel alive. They're the parts that take the longest to write, too.
          
          Of course, everyone has their own reading style, and that's completely okay. This isn't aimed at anyone in particular. I just wanted to share how I feel as a writer. When readers notice and appreciate those details, it genuinely means a lot.
          
          At the end of the day, I'm just grateful to everyone who's giving TDRB a chance. Thank you for reading. ❤️

          After battling a stubborn case of writer's block, I’m happy to say the chapter is finally published.
          
          Unfortunately, I originally planned to release it this morning, but it ended up being delayed until tonight. Earlier today, my family and I lost a dog(died), Sophie, she is a Shih Tzu who had been with us for five years. It has been an emotionally exhausting day, and we are all still grieving her loss.
          
          Thank you for your patience and understanding. I hope you enjoy the new chapter. ❤️
