Shinsou Kinnie🥺

Hi there fellow readers and writers…
          
          I have some news… and I worry that some of you may either hate me for it or I’ll have let you down. Let me just get to the point. 
          
          So for some time, I’ve been pondering leaving It’s Always the Quiet Ones an unfinished story, or to put it on “pause” for an non-dated hiatus to see if I’d ever gain the motivation to try and work on it, but do so by rewriting the story, keeping it wholesome, and changing the writing style all together. I really do hate the idea to leave it unfinished, but considering it was a story created as a joke and in the spur of the moment, I went about writing it in the wrong way. Not only did I just write and publish each day without any storyboarding prep, I also didn’t expect for it to blow up so it was never intended to be a longer story, but rather a one shot. Due to this, I feel that I portrayed Shinsou’s character poorly, and had a very inconsistent pacing. 
          
          I hope that at least some of you will understand my stand point here, and that you’ll be supportive of the choice I end up making in the future. For now I’d still like to sit on those two options until I make up my mind, but for the time being I’ll leave the story where it’s at and update the latest chapter to inform readers of it’s “pause.” Thank you all so so much, truly. 

I have something to confess…
          
          I want to be 100% honest with you all. I’ve grown quite bored of writing my fanfic about Shinsou. I love him as a character dearly, but my writing style has changed so much since I’d started the story and it’s rather difficult to emulate it. I just don’t enjoy writing it as much as I did in the past. 
          
          Now, with that being said, I will still finish the story so nobody is left on a horrid cliff hanger. But I’d also like to inform that the story has been cut much shorter. I have hopes of finishing it in roughly 10 updates. Preferably less… but we’ll see how things play out.

          On a separate note, for the Iwaizumi One-Shot, I’m honestly thinking of deleting it so I apologize to those who enjoyed it’s start. It too is old and doesn’t really peak my interest anymore. I’d like to veer more toward writing more SFW stories. I don’t really feel comfortable writing NSFW content, as it’s both embarrassing on my own hand but also knowing that there have been underaged readers WANTING more nsfw content… its unsettling and i’d like to avoid that. which also means that shinsou’s story will be wholesome after the kidnapping arc until the end.

          I just want to inform that I am currently working on the next chapter, and have a few future chapters planned out in a rough outline. While working on this though, I am taking a few breaks here and there to go back through earlier chapters to make edits and fix writing errors :)

To everyone whos been reading my stories, i want to apologize for taking so long to update. i’m not so sure when i’ll get around to posting an update since ive been quite busy and stressed with moving and other family drama. 
          
          i do however have a few ideas written down to keep the plot flowing pretty well. i dont really have a particular ending in mind so if anyone would like to reply with the type of ending they would like to see (for my main story: Its Always the Quiet Ones), feel free and i’ll take some inspo from the most popular suggestion.

          So uh, i know i havent updated Its Always The Quiet Ones in a while. ive still been viewing everyones comments and began to sort of go through my story here and there only to realized ive had quite a few slip ups with y/n’s pronouns. so i’ll be trying to go through and fix it a bit. i apologize for any excitement due to republishing with the errors fixed, i know many of you would much rather see a new chapter update.

          ik i kinda left it on such a huge cliff hanger, and failing to update new chapters but ive been so caught up with school. Its my last year and just- ugh :( ive hardly been online to talk to any friends 
          
          im HOPING… key word, hoping… to try and get back to this around halloween to thanksgiving 2021 cuz closer to christmas will be finals and i’ll be extra busy around then :((
