So, happy Pride Month, y’all. Because it’s Pride Month now, I’m in a bit of a bind. I have plenty of same sex couples in my stories, but as of right now, the story I’m writing involves a straight couple. Should I put this story on hold, or is it okay to just keep going? Like, I don’t want to come off as insensitive by writing stories I want to write that is currently going against what is being celebrated. I could write a different story, but I’m not feeling motivated to write a story about any of my other characters. That’s my pickle.

Now that Aelquilibra Fantôme’s skills have been fully released, and the season has come to an end, I’ll rewrite the third chapter to have accurate skills soon, and hopefully get around to writing the remaining chapters.

Honestly, that last episode of the season was peak. Not so much the fight, it ended exactly how every Akina fight does, but it was great to see a game last for so long.

Next chapter of the Parallactic Clash story is in the works. Before I publish it tomorrow, I want to talk about the disclaimer I made at the start of the third chapter. I will be writing fanmade skills for Aelquilibra Fantôme and the rest of the Leibrecht cards. Because these cards aren’t officially revealed, and likely won’t come out until DZ Set 15 or beyond, I’m making up skills on the fly to make a chapter and kick off the rest of the events. Now, I won’t just be pulling effects out of my rear, I’m using as much of the manga as possible, but the information from there is limited, so take these with a grain of salt. But yeah, that’s all I wanted to say. Good night.

ShionSchwarts

@Exiled-Kaslana I would wait, but at the same time, there’s an interaction I really want to include before story actually kicks off. I can always rewrite it to use the official effects later as well. It won’t be that big of a deal.

So, I was checking out the Bushiroad stream as best I could last night, and got to the raw episode 2 with Fantome Blangdmire. What an interesting deck. They turned all the important cards of OG Blang into Keter cards, made a Normal Order that seems to be playable in all Fantome decks, and he can heal via his skill? Sign me the hell up.

Exiled-Kaslana

@ShionSchwarts seems to me Blang didn't lose his divine skill too make it better

“Cardfight!! Vanguard: Parallactic Clash” just aired, and now I have 3 decks to build come set 13. Can’t wait to see what else this season has in store.

@Exiled-Kaslana It’s possible, but why make alternate versions of the Fated Ones if they don’t get a Divine Skill? It’s an intrinsic part of what makes the Fated Ones, Fated Ones, especially when it comes to the Fated Ones specifically. Zorga was a normal unit before he got his Divine Skill, so there’s a foundation they can take inspiration from for him. But Blangdmire has always been a Fated One, so his Divine Skill is baked into his identity, if that makes sense.

@ShionSchwarts i think the divine skill will be erased but instead ot was given a new skill that is base on Keter Sanctuary nation base skills which of course maybe similae like Liael=Draconis utilizing units through Bind zone just maybe

@Exiled-Kaslana I would have been surprised if it wasn’t spoiled for me by my Discord friends, but I think it’s really cool. I plan to build it since I didn’t build OG Blang. I’m curious if it’ll have a Divine Skill or not, cuz Bushi really underutilized it in season 3 and 4.

Just finished the Bravely Default HD Remaster. Just as peak as I remember it. A bit sad that there doesn’t seem to be plans for a Bravely Second remaster, though (the removal of the Bravely Second battle feature is proof enough of that). As much as people are critical of that sequel, I loved it. Definitely better than Bravely Default II (story wise). Hopefully it happens, but I won’t be crossing my fingers. Anyway, now that I finished the game, I can focus on writing my fanfic.

So, I have a bit of a disclaimer for my Bravely Default story. Unintentionally, I aged up Til Arrior, and will be keeping the age I gave him. Reason is, the age changes when it came to international localizations. In the Japanese version of Bravely Default, the main cast is younger than the international cast. Tiz is 16, Agnès is 17, Ringabel is 20, and Edea is 15. In the international release, the characters are aged up by 3 years. How does this tie to Til Arrior? Well, in D’s Journal, Til and another boy later in the story are said to be around the same age. Problem is, that boy is 8 years old. And I don’t think I want to write a story starring a character THAT young. So Til will remain the age of 14, and the other boy will also be around that age range. Even I have to draw a line somewhere.

Also, no, there will be no romantic implications between Til and Olivia like there are for Tiz and Agnès. The two will remain platonic, and have more of a “little brother with big sister” friendship.
