          Leaving the fandom is valid, it's kind of a mess, but even if I'm almost a year late, I still miss you Ship. We haven't even talked in /ages/ but I still miss you :(

hey ship :) no need to apologize, you can leave whenever you feel like. and i agree, there is so much toxicity in the air, and it’s tiring. 
          This is probably the 4th time i’ve seen a wave of different artists leaving, and that’s totally okay <3 
          
          you should have to feel the need to leave, but what your decision is yours, and not anyone else’s

I came into this fandom in late May, 2020, when this fandom was an infant and so welcoming and peaceful. Not even two years later I can't take two steps without something negative or toxic blowing up in my face, and I've gotten sick of it.
          
          With that being said, I'm retiring from my Ship_On_The_Sea accounts and writing dsmp/dnf fics. I don't want to associate with this fandom anymore, I'm tired. I'll keep all of my fics up on both accounts (I'm not deleting them) but I'm not going to use them anymore; the most I'm going to do is occasionally log onto my ao3 and reply to any notifications. If you guys wish to keep updated with me, then follow me on tumblr (squish--squash).
