That's why her hair is burned and always looks messy.   If she uses quirk for too long, she looses eye sight and will only see temperature of things around her. She can also eat fire (or everything that is on fire) when she is covered in flames

Backstory: she was born but a serious disease that might have killed her. she survived but still was sick and had to take medicine and visit doctors every day. her father(Shoto) was overprotective. She was homeschooled because outside she might have got infected. By the age of 3 doctors took her to the hospital to take care themselves. They made horrible operations and she was struggling every day. After 11 years she got better but her mental state was horrifying. Now she takes pills that she calls "happiness pills". They make her feel better. 

Shoki is learning on hero course, despite her family being a villains.Her father Shoto, was really nice and kind to her...but as she grew up, she found out an him being a villain. She saw that her father was "good" only when she listened to him. She saw her father's bad side, abusive side...and she got scared of him. Shoto has a new wife, Momo. Shoki doesn't respect momo at all...even if she tries to be friendly to Shoki, the red haired girl completely disrespects her.
