The sun was shining down onto the surface of the Earth, causing half of the sun to disappear, and the sky to turn orange, pink, and blue. The teenager has always enjoyed sunsets. But when the sun goes comp-letely down and the stars in the sky appear, she really begins to feel the thrill of elation beating against her heart. She stared at the moon shining down her, making her become paralyzed in her steps. How-ever, the elation that was once in heart became replaced by a feeling of melancholy. And she felt the grief shimmer down her brown eyes. She wept because the celestial stars above were too far away for her to touch. And so, she kept on weeping for the broken souls that were twinkling in the graveyard of stars.

If anyone's thinking about poetry recommendations, I advise reading Eunoia by @yugenorphic. She's a good friend of mine and her poems and thoughts really speak to the soul. :)View all Conversations
