Over and over I read , it's true 
It's Solace that I find in you. •
I laugh, I cry 
I mourn, I rejoice 
Everything I'm is because of you. •
You take me to a new world 
A new me, a new beginning. 
New friends I meet, 
new enemies I never knew I need. 
But you make me fall in love with them
their insecurities, their fears, their past, I embrace them. 
Hold them close to me when they crumble and watch them rise with a rumble. •
And when the final  chapter ends I wish it shall go on forever 
Cause you and me in this lonely road are together forever.

Books for me are new characters, 
new faces to familiarise with, 
new pasts to learn and new journeys to begin with. But most importantly to discover a new personality within me, 
to laugh at the insider jokes the characters make 
or the snarky comments the jock makes, 
or to cringe at the blush the innocent one always gets 
or to want to slap the mean girl who is always a threat. 
To fall in love with a new country all over again where they are based. 
To start believing in all of the myths. 
To me books are my refuge. 
Just like writing is my way of bleeding, books are my way of healing.
