Thank you for your kind words and support, everyone.
For those who asked, the book that took up all my free (and not-so-free) time was The Reluctant Romantic by Sienna Waters. It was a really fun read and gave me the break I needed.
I’m going to continue my book and publish a new chapter in the next few days. Thank you for your patience.

Hi everyone,

Sorry I haven’t updated for a few days. It was a combination of things.

First, I know I usually get a lot of warm and positive feedback on my books, but sometimes even one negative comment in a sea of good ones can really bring you down. It’s hard to receive criticism about something you wrote straight from the heart. I honestly don’t know how authors do it.

The second reason is that I read a really good book on Kindle and simply couldn’t put it down. I don't know if I can recommand it on this paltform.

Anyway, I need a few days to gather myself. I still don’t know when the muse will hit me again for the next chapter, but I promise I won’t leave those of you who are in the middle of my last book hanging. I also already have ideas for the next book.

I want to thank all the supporters. I'll do my best not to let you down.

Do NOT listen to the haters, they don’t have half of your intellect or creativity to write a story like you do. I’m personally obsessed with your stories.

These AI ass covers girl, this is so depressing
I cant even read your books
You got AI on the cover and AI on your pfp girl
creativity has left the fucking chat

Dude the AI pictures are actually so helpful for me tho, I always forgot what the characters look like, so please keep using them

@ crazyaboutwomen My stories and visuals are my creative choice. You don’t have to like them—but you also don’t have to read them. If you don’t have constructive feedback, it’s best to move on.

@crazyaboutwomen whats worse is that almost every book of yours has AI omg

So I haven’t read all of your books just yet but so far I’ve noticed a trend. An older brunette with green eyes who’s stoic but secretly a softy and a redheaded, filterless ball of chaos and gay panic. I’m just curious if these stories reflect your personal fantasies or real life? And are you the redhead or the brunette?

Shritzy

@ 3Pebbles Well, actually I don’t have a preference when it comes to hair color. I know I tend to write a lot of blondes, and I tried not to, but I didn’t realize it created a whole new pattern haha. And honestly, I think the gap is hot. I’ve always had a thing for older women… although today, I'm at the age of the older women in my stories.

Hi, just read The recipe of us. My apolygies if yoh had recieved a lot of notifications from me, I was so into the story I forgot to vote in the chapters. I really love how you write, with the animations is a cherry on top. (Chef’s kiss )
Glad I found another great author on here.
And I will defiantly be reading your other works.

Ps, sorry to hear about your dog but I know they also can be strong. I have a cat that went through double hip surgery. So I know what you have been going through.

Shritzy

@ Ziggy_313 Thank you for your high praise. I wish I could take credit for the animation, but I use AI. It’s not always easy, and sometimes it takes a long time until I get the image I want.

My dog is doing much better. He got his stitches removed and has returned to being the little gremlin he’s always been.

Hi! I just want to ask how's your dog? I have 7 myself and I can just imagine what you're going through.

Shritzy

@ Acanthuss Thank you so much for your kind thoughts
My dog made it through the surgery successfully, and even though his leg is still wrapped, he’s not letting it slow him down
Hopefully he’ll be running around again soon.

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to update you. My dog was hit by a car today and his leg is broken. He’s 15 years old, so he’s spending the night at the hospital for observation. I’m very shaken and can’t find the headspace to write right now.

I’m sorry, but there won’t be new chapters for a little while, at least until things calm down and I know he’s okay.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Acanthuss

@Shritzy I hope he gets better and recovers fast.

@ Shritzy Thank you so much for the kind message.
He had surgery and they inserted a pin to stabilize the broken bones. He’s back home now, resting and recovering.

Hi everyone,

I’ve been getting a lot of requests for sequels to some of my books, so I wanted to take a moment to explain my decision about that.

The main reason I haven’t written any yet is because I’m afraid the characters might lose their charm. I’ve read plenty of books with really good sequels, but I’ve also read ones that kind of ruined the magic for me. Personally, I believe it’s better to leave readers with a taste for more, rather than the feeling that they’ve had enough.

That being said, if there’s ever a really big demand for a sequel — I might just change my mind. ;)
