Doug,
          thanks for taking time to reply.  I have just completeds an open university creative wriitng (starter) module which I both enjoyed and received good feedback etc. I have published on wattpad one small short story from that couse.   ?
          I'm intrigued, however, how to obtain a large readership ?  Do readers simply discover you and follow whatever your writing ??

Hey thanks very much indeed. I am glad you like it. It was totally my daughter's idea and I have not done more with it since concentrating on the "Consequences" story.
          
          I lived in Edinburgh for a while as well - in Portobello in fact :-)
          
          I love Edinburgh (hard for a Glaswegian to admit - lol)
          
          I intend to take the Vampire story a lot further :-) - We tried to write it like it might actually be true and even more "real"
          
          On the wattpad thing. I have readers from 12 to 82 on here, and as you can see by the numbers - the reads go up about 700 per day for me. It took a while to get going but now a chapter is read every 57 seconds 24/7
          
          My business does private intelligence for the oil and gas industry (i see you worked for an oil company :-)
          
          Anyway - thanks again and your encouragement is appreciated.

Thanks for the reply;  Yes I have lived abroad a lot - worked for an oil Company but haved now retired (early).  Not too sure about Wattpad but would like to write and get decent readership and feedback. We will see how it pans out but most readers appear, at the moment, to be about 15 and into teen fiction and romance.   Not sure where else to share my stories.
