Hi guys! As you know, I lost motivation on Thalassophile as I haven't updated it in almost two months now. Hopefully, this doesn't last forever. If it does I'll eventually just unpublish the story. Anyways, just because I am currently not motivated to work on Thalassophile does not mean I am not motivated to write. I simply just don't have any interest in working on that specific book right now. At the moment, I am working on other books that are still in my drafts and will continue to be until I am fully done with writing them. Admittedly, some of the books I am currently working on have been in my drafts for 1-3 years. I really hope Thalassophile doesn't go that long w/o being updated, but I know if I am not motivated to work on that specific book and I end up trying to force myself to write a chapter, my writing will just be sloppy compared to the rest of it. It would just ruin the overall vibe of the book.

          	Thanks for bearing with me!

Update on my update: I went through a Lois griffin decluttering moment and I deleted all of my stories but Thallasophile and my draft for the School for Good and Evil. I also almost completely emptied out my reading lists and library. So basically I only have 2 books to worry about, but I'll probably still procrastinate writing them.

That awkward moment when you're really enjoying writing a book based on a TV show and you finish writing the Epilogue before the actual story is done.

Also- For those of you wondering about "Take Me Away", I have put it on private while I rewrite it, work out new things, and continue to write it. I also created a second account where I am only going to post Harry Potter Fanfictions! So, "Take Me Away" will eventually be moved there. More details to come!

This is my second account that will only be used for Harry Potter Fanfiction!

Why did I just read someone's few-chapter apology about a few of their fanfictions? The person wrote the fanfiction about a really problematic person, but it was written before it all came out. They wrote about how they will "do better next time" and not write about that person again. Like I understand you saying you will take it down like:

"I wrote this book before the accusations became public, so I am deleting the book."

But don't apologize and try to "better yourself" from writing a book BEFORE any accusations about the person come to light.

This is a copy and paste reply to all the messages about me making "Take me Away" to a book:
I have finally created the book! It has been in the works since January 2021, but I am a slow writer and I am just now posting the first few chapters! Go check it out on my profile. All the chapters I have posted are all that I have completed.

How do you guys feel about Fanfics written in 1st person? Because I have noticed that when I write it about a fictional movie or book I write in 3rd, but when I'm dealing with real people I write in 1st. A lot of people on TikTok say they hate fanfics written in 1st person, but I feel like the process I have works? Let me know. I just know in books and movies people already clearly know the emotions floating around and the plot that's happening. They also know basically everything that is going to happen and stuff about the other characters. In fanfics about real people (non-pairing) I feel like there are raw never seen before moments included that need to have 1st person...? Do you know what I'm talking about? Just let me know your opinions on the topic, I'd love to see them.
