Hi all,
You remember how I asked you for feedback a while back on this watt pad ? You guys were nice enough to give it. I looked at each and every comment from the thousands of replies.
I kept my ego down.
I listened.
I acted on it.
You told me to reinvent, refresh and do a different kind of story. You told me to focus on writing. You told me to write something simple yet meaningful, fun, fresh, original and moving - all at the same time. You told me to challenge myself. Take a risk.
I did.
I have always wanted to write from the female point of view. It has been a dream I have had for several years. I have also wanted to understand women better. I just never had the courage for it. However, after your feedback I finally did it.
The result of all this was the short story i will announce today midnight 00:00 hrs. It will be different from my other short stories. Yet it will be meaningful, fun, fresh, original and moving - all at the same time.
Of course, all of you will be the final judges. I will, as always accept your judgement. Mostly, I have been lucky to get so much love from you guys. It is this love which keeps me going, lets me do what I want to do. So, thank you for that. But even otherwise, whatever feedback you will have, I will accept. I only request one thing, especially to those who may not love me as much. Don't pre-judge it. Read and then decide whether I was able to do it or not. It's years of effort. Would you like it if someone sneered at your years of effort without even looking at what you have done?
Rest of course, is upto you. I am really, really excited about this one. It's really special and I can't wait for you to read it.
