Here's a poem written by me. I was imagining (Yasmine) Avneet and (Aladdin) Siddharth while writing it.
In a tale of ancient lore, a princess held captive,
Her heart earning for love, her spirit active.
Whispers in the night, a voice so sweet,
Calling her name, her heart skips a beat.
She follows the sound, drawn to its allure,
And there she finds a magician mysterious and pure.
Their love grows strong, a bond so deep,
Yet he remines untouchable, secrets to keep.
Alas, fate intervened, cruel and unjust,
As her fragile mind shuttered, love turned to dust.
For the magician, a figment of her creation,
Their love was but a product of her imagination.
In the end, she succumbed to her mental strife,
Leaving behind a tale of an illusory love, her life.
In her mind's labyrinth, their love will forever reside,
A bittersweet tale of love, lost but never denied.
Is it good? Due to my tight schedule of love I've deleted stories or discontinued them. But, I really wish to write this one. Hope in future I can.
