I’d definitely recommend reading redemption first if you’re going to read Trails and error!

His affection and pain? If so that’s mainly based around Ashton. It just shows his joinery and mistakes as he grows. There’s around 2-4 chapters about the parents so it’s not a need if you’re going to read “it ends with me.”
