Theories:
1. Dabi is a Todoroki. Okay so I have reasons for thinking he genuinely is Toya Todoroki.
First off, how would he know Peppermint boi's full name? And why would he have the same eye shape as Toya and/or Todo? And why is his eye color the same as Toya and hair style the same as him? Why are their smirks pretty much the same? Why is their skin tone (minus Dabi's injuries) the same? And they have the same quirk. I understand two people who aren't related can sometimes have the same quirk but it doesn't seem to be common.
2. Todoroki's eyelashes??? Yeah, funny, I know, but hear me out; if his right side has white hair on his head and for his right eyebrow, and the opposite being red... Would that make his right eyelashes white and the other eyelashes red?
3. (This one is just for fun it's not a legit theory lol) Dabi's real hair color is pink so he dyed it black. I mean, if he really is a Todoroki, then... Well, his dad has red hair and his mom has white. Notice how none of the kids have pink hair instead of red-and-white? Maybe Toya dyed his hair red and when he became Dabi dyed it black. I don't know lol.
4. KiriBaku=canon? Okay, remember when Kirishima gave Bakugou the vest with white roses? Well, white roses symbolize respect and admiration (or something similar, correct me if I'm wrong) and... Well, the two literally cuddle in the manga.. it's a small background detail but you might find it in one or two of many if you look for it, but yeah. And Kirishima is the only one who can get away with things without being bullied by Bakugou.. As in, he can call him a funny nickname or litrally LEAN ON HIS SHOULDER and SOMEHOW GET AWAY WITH THAT!! Teach us your ways Kiri.

5. Bakugou sounds like pop rocks. I can't remember all the science behind it, but Bakugou actually sweats nitroglycerin and it causes him to become warm (I think) and use his quirk. Well, you know how your face becomes warm when you're sweating or blushing? Well, maybe when Bakugou either sweats or blushes, he sounds like prop rocks.
6. Todoroki's ice half. Yeah, this.
Umm well you know how when you're cold, your face and ears turn pink? What if that's the case with the right half of Todo's face? And maybe the tips of his fingers/toes while we're at it, since your toes and fingertips turn pink when cold too?? That's all I have for now.

Am I the only one who's friend group goes by anime names for nicknames?
Everyone I my friend group calls me Icy Hot, Todo, or Todoroki-Kun.
Obviously we know that Todoroki-Kun is from the Deku of the group while Icy Hot is from the Bakugou.

Peppermint- hot-cold
