Tackling the topic from the person being abused felt like it had been done a lot (on here and in literature in general), so this story was a bit of an experiment for me to see if it would still be a gripping topic told from a different angle.

@RElizabethM Hi! I was actually planning on leaving a review today! I read the entire book last night and loved it. I'm not usually a fan of stories that address topics as dark as physical and emotional abuse, but you did it in a way that really captured the reader's attention. While the topic was serious, you addressed it elegantly. I think the fact that the main character was the one observing it happening to someone else is what made this story so much easier to read and to grasp the concepts. I loved it. I look forward to reading more of your work and at looking through your own favourites list.

@Wendizzy It's a fantastic story, so it couldn't avoid my favorites list. ;) I read A Lovely Nightmare 2 nights ago as well and it was incredible! You're a fantastic writer. Sorry I didn't leave any reviews.
