@HelmetAndArrows Hi! I apologize for responding this late, got busy with being a student nurse and enjoying the break. Just a disclaimer, I know I may not be a professional writer, but thank you for asking on my honest feedback. I am currently reading your work (just finished the prologue and scanned some chapters), I must say it has a potential to caught the interest of a reader, for the story covers a woman who is blind and wanting to find her one true love but losing hope because of many rejections. My honest feedback would be first of, just enjoy and love what you write, continue working on your story, stay consistent on building your characters, continuously show one iconic personality of them, if you have enough time - edit your draft (but don't overdo it, cause sometimes when we read and read our writing, we become too conscious that we tend to rewrite and never being satisfied - based from experience btw). Moreover, I think having one goal in every chapter is also advisable, for example, what would happen in this chapter? Will she accept his hand? And while she is contemplating on it, what also happens outside it? (adding bit of situations outside the MC can build up reader's attachment to the story) Attached the readers' in your own world, show them how wonderful and amazing your imagination is. You own it. It's so uncommon to read a story about blind people. And that's the reason why I like your chosen concept of the story. Those people with disability in their senses (such as vision) deserves to be noticed and known. I hope this helps and I do hope I am not overstepping any boundary. I am looking forward to the flow of your story. Thank you and best of luck!
