And it wouldn't be weird if you were already in conversation with her.

Me : That is, in fact, a class I just finished as a dual-enrollment student.
PSYC 101, I feel like you would've been very confused by it. It would've made for a very interesting conversations if you had been in the same class as me, comparing thoughts on the class, I mean.
How, may I ask, is that relevant though?
Me : P.S. *insert the name of my sister* says that you and I speak like two professors.
Him : She's just jealous, because we're not making typos every other message. In two messages to me, she made six typos. It's a relevant thought because I enjoy learning about the brain and psychology itself.
Him : So I wondered if you had any interest in it.
Him : Just a THOUGHT. (Ignore the pun.)
Me : I actually had someone tell me I would make a good psychologist and FBI worker in the same sentence once. Though I'm not sure that I see that.
Me : The pun is great, LOL. I actually laughed at it for a second.
Him : Well, thank you. I was never considered very funny by my brothers. In fact, Wyatt says to me at least five times a day, "You think you're cool, but you're not."
Me : I promise you, that's just a sibling thing.

It's a sibling's goal in life to discourage you the greater majority of the time and then surprise you with encouragement at random moments.
