Hello my beloved readers <3
This is something important, so I hope you can spare a few moments to read this. I know I’ve been quiet regarding the recent controversies surrounding Jenna and Emma, and that silence was intentional. I never wanted this space to feel like X (Twitter) or Instagram, platforms where things can easily turn harsh and overwhelming. Wattpad, for me, has always been a place for storytelling, a place where we escape into fiction rather than get pulled into real-world drama. Since this is the only platform where I’m truly active and known, I’m very careful with my words. I want this space to remain safe, creative, and focused on the stories we all love.
However, I noticed a comment on my recent chapter, telling me to stop writing because of these issues, and I just want to address that. Please, let’s learn to separate fictional characters from the actors who portray them. Stories are meant to stand on their own. If something doesn’t align with you, it’s always okay to step away, but spreading hate is never necessary.
I also want to be clear about why I’m continuing. I won’t stop writing because I refuse to leave those who support me hanging. I deeply respect those who chose to step back, and I understand your reasons. As an author, my role is to create stories, and to share them with those who still wish to stay, and for that, I’m incredibly grateful.
As for Jenna and Emma, I still hold love and appreciation for them. There may be disappointment, yes, and I think it’s valid to feel that way, especially when they seem to go against what was once stood for. But at the end of the day, we're fans, we only ever see fragments of the full picture.
Let’s continue to choose kindness, respect each other’s perspectives, and avoid becoming too consumed or parasocial about situations we’re not fully part of.
As always, I love you, my readers, and I truly mean that. <3
