Happy summer you guys, I'm beginning to plot a new project. It was an idea that came to me at like two o'clock the morning before last. Here's to hoping that it gets off the ground, I'll post the first few chapters once I have them drafted.

Hey guys, quick update on life and the gifted
          
          Basically, I haven't been writing much recently due to my own mental health and school (I wasn't in a great place last time I posted), but I'm doing a ton better now! As such, I'm planning on publishing the first couple of rewritten chapters of the gifted within the next day or so. So that's a thing that's happening... Aaaanyway, that's all, have a good day/night.

Status update: Wednesday, August second, 2017
          
          The Gifted: so, I am still working on this story. At the moment though, I've hit a bit of a rut, so I'm going to take a bit of a rest from it. It's worn quite thin, as have I, and I think I just need to give it some space and come back to it.
          
          Short stories: haven't come up with any decent ones recently, I'll let you know when I do.
          
          And I Still Don't Know: it's a very rough work in progress. I'm going to wait until I've got a couple more chapters drafted to publish again. It's coming though, slowly but surely

          I am starting a fan fiction, as an experimental project, to see if I can do it well. It's a warriors fanfic, called Dawnflight Rising. At this stage, I intend for this to be a standalone fanfic, much like the super editions. This is presently where the vast majority of my efforts are going. I may publish the first couple parts of it today, just to try to get some feedback. I must admit, I began with no small amount of reservation about this project, but now I'm quite excited about it's prospect!

Ha ha ha, yeah, so I suppose I'd better explain my most recent hairbrained writing scheme. So anyone who actually followed me for my writing, this shall explain most everything.
          
          Update: The Gifted 
          
           so basically, I've gutted the gifted. Not to worry, I haven't abandoned it entirely, it is still my brainchild. However, with time and experience, I have adapted my writing style quite a bit, and I'm quite a bit more confident in it. As such, I am rewriting the whole thing to accommodate for my growth. What I have currently is more of a rough blueprint, helping me to sort of get a feel for the characters, the environment in which they live, the plot in general, etc. 
          
          Update: short stories
          
          I am still writing short stories, trying to get better at those, as they're something I thoroughly enjoy. So I'll be publishing those sporadically. Mixed topics, points of view, circumstances, what have you. 
          
          Update: upcoming works
          
          So I do have a couple ideas for some long term projects going on. Whether I'll be able to make something of them remains to be seen. Fingers crossed  (Vulcan salute because why the flip not?)
          
          
          So yeah, Overall, I have a good feeling about the next couple of months. A lot of work, a lot of fun.
          

Hey guys, it's Singer! Sorry I've been inactive, I've had a ton of Random junk going on at school, and frankly, the writers block has been strong with this one.  
          
          But I'm back, more or less. I've got some ideas going on and I'm going to be working on both new pieces and old! (more on that later) so yeah... 
          
          For all of my bookwriter folks (you know who you are) I'm not going to use the app much anymore, it's a bit too glitchy and I don't honestly trust it. I'll be on from time to time, but I will be on occasionally. So yeah, hang in there guys.
