@SirSplunk As for why her body remains young, perhaps it's because Manji designed her body not to age (I think).

@Mercury_apocalypse All I know is that Manji somehow took Kaguya's soul, without her overwhelming power, out of her original body and put her in an ordinary human body.
            
            I admittedly don't know how that would work (Like, is she still immortal? Does that body age? And if not, how is it possible for a supposedly human body to remain young?), I'm honestly just following the flow of the story.
            
            Because I am nowhere near smart enough to know how things like this works.

@Mercury_apocalypse However, if they do not find a vessel compatible with them, their chakras will eventually be depleted and they will die permanently.

@SirSplunk Perhaps that's exactly it.

@Mercury_apocalypse Maybe Manji used some seals as a workaround, to keep the powers in her original body? Fuinjutsu is pretty powerful if used right.

            The thing with Ernest, he likes the quip at times to cope with potential stress and dire situations, so he can lighten up the mood (like how he did with the guy getting petrified) for himself or for others (now not everyone will enjoy it like Blackmoor ofc)
            
            The best analogy for Ernest is Spiderman who cracks jokes too but only with bad guys. But ya he’ll eventually tone it down

@Soviet_Onion15 I liked it, you really set the tone with Ernest and Blackmoor, and it made the general even easier to hate.
            
            Although, admittedly Ernest made a few too many jokes during his dialogue. But I assume that's the point, to make it a part of his potential growth as a character.
            
            But I will admit I'm more looking forward to seeing Ernest meet the ponies and how they'll interact.
