Author’s Note

I will be honest with all of you—this is a more serious author’s note than usual.

For some time now, I have been pushing myself harder and harder in pursuit of quality, consistency, and a better overall experience. But I have also come to realize that working with images in this way is deeply exhausting, especially when trying to maintain the level of quality I have been aiming for.

Because of that, I have decided on something important.

So that I do not keep delaying posts when the chapters themselves are already written, I will now limit the use of illustrations to the covers only. Even so, I still feel I owe all of you an apology, because I proposed something ambitious and, in truth, I have not been able to sustain it through my own lack of skill. The main problem has always been consistency.

Some chapters may even be released without covers for now, as the tool I use has been malfunctioning, even after days of trying to fix it and experimenting with different methods, including official references.

For that, I sincerely apologize. I know this may be disappointing.

Still, I hope that, at the very least, my writing will be enough to make you care for the stories I wish to tell.

          	With care,
          	Arisu Taka

@KnoxLugiel Thank you, truly. Your words carry a kindness I do not take lightly.

I am very glad to know that, with or without pictures, the writing itself is still enough for you to enjoy the story. That means more to me than I can easily express, because the heart of all this has always been the story first.

And thank you as well for your concern for my health. I will try not to push myself too far. Support like yours makes the road feel gentler.

@SirVidet I know you've worked hard, so whether or not there are pictures doesn't matter, after all you always do your best in writing and that's more than enough, so thank you very much for what you've done so far, I will still be happy to read the stories you upload.

Of course your health is also important, so don't push yourself too hard .

@MientraSduerme It was less a matter of the tool failing outright, and more a matter of me no longer being able to sustain that level of quality after so much work. Even so, yes—for now, I will try to preserve the charm of my own stories through the writing alone.

Thank you for your kind words.

And prepare yourselves, because today all of my stories will be receiving a rather significant update.

Well, I did question your ability to post 5 chapters daily and I think i was of the opinion saying it way unrealistic, but I still encourage you to try anyway.

You got two optionsif you wish to continue with a daily upload plan.
          1. Continue with the output, but less images. Some chapter my not have any images in the middle of them.

          2. Reduce your output to something more manageable. You can keep the same amount of images you may post within a chapter with the reduced content output.

You could also abandon the daily plan and focus on a handful of uploads every few days. You just adjust what your doing to match this time frame instead of getting everything done in one day. This could help mitigate some issues you may have with development. Can even help with your work vs daily life flow.

Side note, apparently Wattpad allows to schedule when your uploads release with it scheduling tools. Yes, I looked this up as I was typing. I wish FFNet and AO3 platforms had this feature. Royal Road may have, but I'm not sure. Last time I actively looked up Royal Road, I found out they released a mobile app after being a web only platform intil October 2023 when the app released.

@JL_xen0tensei I have been leaning more and more toward letting the images go, even if they may have been part of what made me stand out—or at least, that is what I believe. Even so, I have faith that my writing alone can be enough to make people stay for the content itself.

I do not truly have a problem with writing five chapters a day, or even more. My life is relatively unoccupied aside from caring for my grandmother—which, in truth, is my work—so I remain at home most of the day with the freedom to devote myself to these stories.

And to be honest, I would rather keep moving the stories forward than continue holding them back because of the images.

Still, thank you very much for all the kindness, concern, and advice you placed into your message. I truly appreciate it.

I have some genuinely wonderful news.

After days of struggling with the programming, I finally achieved the consistency I had been chasing for the AI-generated illustrations. Reaching this point was not easy, and I will admit that the process was far more frustrating than I would have liked, but at last, I can say with some confidence that I have a stable Version 1.0.

As I have said before, my circumstances are not particularly generous. Living in Brazil makes every expense tied to foreign currency feel far heavier than it should, and because of that, pursuing better visual quality has always been something of a difficult balancing act for me. I do not have the resources to commission everything I would wish to commission, and despite trying for years, manual art was never a talent I was able to cultivate into something worthy of the worlds I imagine.

That does not excuse the choice to use AI, nor do I present it as something above criticism. It is simply the path I chose so I could offer you the most complete experience I am capable of creating. More than anything, I want to write stories I myself would long to read, and then share that experience with those kind enough to walk through those worlds alongside me.

So, with that said, I am happy to announce that the version I now use is finally stable.

From this point onward, the illustrations should have far better visual consistency, more reliable character appearances, and even different artistic identities depending on the fic itself. In truth, what I wish to create is something that feels closer to a light novel than a simple fanfic. Perhaps that has always been my quiet ambition.

I sincerely hope you will enjoy what comes next, because from here onward, the machine will not be stopping.

And perhaps, in about a week, I will come to you with a small and heartfelt request. But for now, let us simply enjoy what we have.

Thank you, truly, for reading, for staying, and for giving my work a place in your time.

@Pyre627 Some may disagree, and others may agree, but in truth, I am simply grateful that you are willing to see my work for what it is, rather than judge it solely by a single detail—especially one that does not define the work as a whole, but merely exists as one part of it.

I must offer you my sincere apology.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to post more stories today, nor finish the remaining two *NIKKE* chapters, due to certain limitations and technical difficulties involving the image code. I had hoped to continue, yet for the present, I have been forced to stop where I stand.

By tomorrow, however, I shall return to posting and resume my usual rhythm.

I must also speak plainly on one small matter: as I am not a wealthy man, even while using the most expensive plan available to me, there are still limits to how much I can do at once through programming and image work. It is a frustrating boundary, though an unavoidable one.

Even so, I do not wish to let this note end in mere apology.

To all of you who have been reading, commenting, and quietly following my progress—thank you, truly. It leaves me happier than my words may fully express. Though I write the stories I myself long to read, there is a special kind of joy in knowing that there are others who also wish to read what was once only mine in silence.

For that kindness, I remain deeply grateful.

What website or application do you use to create these images in your story ?

SirVidet

@Ahmedchagroune I write the chapters in Word 2019, but the images come from a joint workflow between ChatGPT Plus and Gemini Plus. I usually use both as part of the creative process, refining prompts and adjusting things until the result feels right for the story.

've noticed you mention characters from the anime School Days a lot. Is there a reason for this? Because I know it's one of the worst anime I've ever seen, and it has the lowest rating, with everyone agreeing. I hope in the future you writing story about nisekoi it was one of my favorite anime

SirVidet

@Ahmedchagroune Você pode responder assim:

That is fair, honestly. School Days is very divisive, and I understand why many people dislike it. The reason I mention it is not because I think it is a masterpiece, but because it has characters and situations that fit very well with the kind of emotional and thematic ideas I want to explore. Sometimes a story with a messy reputation can still have interesting material in the right hands.

And about Nisekoi, I do have affection for it as well, so maybe one day I will write something with it. I cannot promise when, but it is definitely not impossible.

I see it's good idea I can see GoJo's character fitting in well in the devastated and dark world of Arknights or Wuthering Waves, which will likely reveal more about his personality that the manga couldn't showcase. GoJo could have been one of the best-written characters in the anime world if the writer hadn't rushed its conclusion. I imagine that his fall into a world where he doesn't depend on others, where he struggles to survive, will make him more open to himself and others, and he'll try to support and help them without relying on himself. There's an old story I wrote on my account about Sakata Gintoki in the world of Nikke, the goddess of victory. Gintoki is one of those characters who faces the world and its pain with sarcasm. It was a crazy story where the characters try to cope, but deep down, he's burdened with guilt and self-blame. I've always loved the way Raby interacts with him, trying to keep up with his sarcasm and jokes about Nikke and their clothes.

SirVidet

@Ahmedchagroune I agree, I read a fanfic with Gojo in the Arknights world and I also agree that it's a perfect fit. I'll definitely write a crossover with him in Arknights someday; he has a lot of potential, but it was held back by the genre of the work he's in, especially if he opened himself up to friendships, romance, and even the world instead of the shell he lives in as the strongest.

I love Nikke, I played it a lot and even wrote a fanfic that I'm going to reboot in a better way. Your story seems interesting, very much in Nikke's style. I'd love to talk to you more about it and story ideas in general. Add me on Discord if you want to chat.
