The two most important days of your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why. - Mark Twain
Strive not to be a success, but to be of value. - Albert Einstein
Perhaps under all this sorrow, seemingly a blanket of cold and decided death, there is a bud. It has little will to sprout, having hauled the weight of so much sadness on its young shoulders, but it's center is warm. Maybe one day it will break through the layers of snow, which it had thought to be so packed and steadfast. If the day were to come, I just know it would rise slowly, letting all other flowers around praise its glorious arising. Perhaps it were still frail: The petals thin and all-too breakable. But there is a beauty behind such things. When the light hits it just right, the petals seem to glow, showing the scars it had endured. The patterns it leaves below dance as the wind caresses the flower for the first time, and for once, the little, insignificant flower, feels as if it were meant to be there.
