It's about the stories, and the characters within it.
Their worlds, their joy, and their pain.
The worlds, lives and feelings you carry within you.
After you've read them; after you've lived them.
Most times I read blindly, picking a book only by its title, with a vague notion that for some forgotten reason years ago it somehow got into my tbr.
- If you read with high expectations, if you are lucky enough, a great book will meet them; a normal one will disappoint you; and a bad one will feel like garbage.
- If you read with low expectations, a bad one might even seem ok; a normal will please you; and a great one will taste like divine perfection.
- Do yourself a favor, enjoy life. If possible at all,
ALWAYS READ WITHOUT EXPECTATIONS.
☑ My main field is Classics, but I also read YA, NA, Fantasy, Historical, Dystopian, Romance, Comedy, Children's, MG, Sci-Fi, Mystery, Thriller, Horror, Comics, and basically anything that kindles the fire.
"Life is too short and tbr too long to read books twice."
