Holy shit am I... Am I back?! I guess I am haha
After a very, VERY long hiatus, I'm back to you guys! I'm not even sure anyone remembers who I am, so let me reintroduce myself!
Hi! My name is Skeeter, and I am in love with all things Marvel (even though I originally started this page as a Stranger Things page haha). I am now 24 years old, but I originally started this account when I was 17 years old (holy cow, does time fly!) I left around five years ago because I was going through a lot mentally, and the pandemic really did not help with that haha
Within that time, I was able to gain my bachelor's in Sign Language Interpreting and graduated this past May! So now I'm working as an ASL interpreter and going through everyday life! I healed a lot mentally and am in a really, really good place now.
I decided to come back because, now that I'm not juggling two jobs, an internship, and college life, I have a lot of free time on my hands and want to share some things I wrote in the past on top of a couple of things I plan on writing in the future! My passion for storytelling and fanfiction has not dwindled, no matter how crazy my life got turned upside-down, and I'm really excited to be back to all of you!

My sister just asked me what the straight pride flag was because she wanted to celebrate straight pride during pride month... I can’t stop cackling because she doesn’t get it when I try to explain

There isn’t a straight pride parade because you guys get to be proud everyday without being oppressed and because you guys still have more rights than the LGBTQ community does

@SofieButterfly I’m not saying you can’t have pride in being straight I’m saying pride month specifically is for us LGBTQ’s because of the stonewall riots... we had to fight to be publicly proud of our sexuality and we still are... you guys get to be proud everyday without having to worry about being threatened or killed because of your sexuality... pride month is to celebrate that we did it we got this far and although it isn’t even close to where you guys can be we’re still better than what was happening when the stone wall riots were going on

It’s so weird thinking about how my college semester is over now... I just finished taking my last exam online today and just thinking about the difference between the end of this semester compared to last is crazy and depressing ...
