Observation. That's all it takes. All I had to do was observe.

I am not going to deny sometimes there are other factors in play. However, that does not apply to everything. It really does not apply to many things. It's a select few that it does apply to. If I can simply observe something and it's really clear what's happening and no other factors are involved, don't piss on my head and tell me it's raining.

The Oscars. That's all I am going to say. September 8th 2020. "It doesn't exist"... yeah... then I am pretty sure this webpage would not exist. Moral cowardice. You're not actually a good person. Oh, sure, you might like to think that. Maybe emotion should take a backseat. Let actual logic be in the driver's seat.

I swear, some of the most moronic people exist online. They are completely fine with something they like while being a complete and utter tourist, but bitch about something that many people regardless of fandom don't enjoy and somehow the many people are the issue and start reeeing about "you're not real fans". Meanwhile the creators of a franchise actively piss off the longtime fans and demographic by catering to another demographic that it was not made for, especially if it was a very niche thing already. Marvel's in serious trouble with their MCU stuff and have been for a good bit as well, the less that is said about Disney by extent the better, cause it's pretty freaking clear by now. Don't cultivate an audience and actively shit on that longtime audience to the point they are done with the fandom entirely in an attempt to bring in an audience that never had interest in it in the first place and doesn't participate in the fandom even while being catered to is a lesson creators, studios, artists, etc. somehow don't understand but keep making the same mistakes over and over. Bionicle back in the day was catered towards younger males. Is it smart to start catering toward the audience Barbie has (younger females) in an attempt to bring in a new audience? No way in hell was even 10% of the total number of Bionicle's fans female.

Doubling down is also a good way for people to look at you like you're a fucking moron as well. Look at that game company that lost their shit because they decided to be hypocrites and whine about gamers and pc mods months ago. They got lambasted by people because they decided to be morons and release their own versions of that stuff they complained about... on console. And when they lashed out and doubled down, they got exactly what they deserved. More people clowning on them. In my personal opinion, there are writers on here who are no different. Criticism isn't hate, if you think criticism is hate automatically, kindly get off the internet and go smell the roses. If people on here are criticizing you and you double the fuck down, and you are losing your audience more than you already were before as a result ... you're at fault.

I have stopped being a fan of a few bands myself because they shit on their longtime fanbase/demographic. I never listened to the new stuff and I never left the old stuff. If a creator thinks they are exempt from that happening, buddy, I've got news for you. You are a creator, you are in a public space online, you are not exempt from criticism. No creator is too small to be exempt. And there is a legitimate difference between legitimate criticism and moronic trolling like spamming reports to get someone's profile/content taken down. If the creator is being a moronic troll themselves though, the rule of don't dish it out if you cannot take it applies, especially if the creator was already shitting on the audience to begin with.

For example, 2K is played by almost 100% guys only. It's a fact. And you cannot change that whether you like it or not. Barely any girls play it to begin with. Sports games in general are like that. You think the girls that do play are going to play the W mode? The audience for that irl league doesn't play video games in the first place. Most of the audience of a fandom is generally going to agree on some things, even more so if the fandom is very niche to begin with. The fandom will likely never agree with the fringe parts of the fandom. Don't shit on your audience, especially if you're a small creator regardless of being amateur or professional. The audience built in or that you've cultivated will find out about it regardless whether it's publicly stated or not.

Hey man, sorry about all that bullshit about my story the reason why I'm changing my stories. Because I've been getting a lot of reports about me "copywriting" even though I have no clue who and where it belongs because I'm sometimes a shitty writer. But I'm kinda losing my faith in writing.

Sorry about that, but if I had a toxic issue about it. Just been trying not to be shadow banned, but I really appreciate you pointing it out since I don't know anything about getting banned or any Wattpad rules.

@UltrahybridX hey, so I don't know if this is just due to authors on Wattpad, but i have noticed some authors will have a different number of works and a different number of published stories. And when that's the case, it looks like on the author's page, when there is a "more" drop down button, it won't work even though that usually means there are more stories that get shown below after pressing on that button. I don't know if that is a shadowbanning thing from the AI moderators on the site or that is just the author unpublishing a story or just outright deleting it.

I think there are some things in here that might help on AO3 to prevent the horny weirdo comments from even showing up.
