sorry for being awkward towards you in middle school i distinctly remember pointing out that your middle finger and ring finger often stuck together as you gestured and genuinely finding it interesting since i've never noticed it from anyone else before. i thought you were cool and wanted to be your friend because you had short hair and i always wanted short hair but my mom wouldn't let me have it any shorter than shoulder-length. silly logic to want to be someone's friend but i mean it was middle school and it meant a lot to me to meet nonbinary and transgender kids my age there and resonating with the look in a way i didn't yet understand the extent of. anyway long story short yes the answer was transgender and i would not realize until about 4 years after. i hope everything is well with you
