Hello, adventurers! :)

So, as of now, I’m on hiatus.

I have written on and off for years, and at this point I have to confront the possibility that I might not be as genuinely interested in the idea of becoming a published author, as I originally thought.

If I have unfollowed you, it was only because I was clearing this account out in order to delete it. (Clearing it out, while ultimately redundant, was helping me– at first– to commit to the idea of deleting this account)

So if I have suddenly followed you, and you seem to recall me already following you once before… well, that is why.

Hi, followers! Exciting news!

The lovely @niranju98 , who made the beautiful cover for Aleksy’s Dragons, has published their tremendous series “The Tremendous Ten Chronicles” through Amazon!

A sample of the first book in the series, ‘The Missing Piece of History’, is still available on Wattpad, but the full version is now available for purchase as an E-Book, and as a Paperback!

Read the sample, and if you like it, head on over to Amazon and purchase the full version. And if you really enjoy it, drop a review so others can find it, too! It’s a worthy read.

Hey, all.

You may be wondering where I went... Or maybe why I never posted another chapter of AD.

Well– it’s as simple as this.

I chickened out and ran off!

When it comes to writing, I’ve always struggled with descriptions. I rewrite and rewrite and rewrite, but I can rarely describe a scene in a way I’m happy with. Oftentimes, character dialogue ends up taking over. And that’s not all a book should be.

Occasionally, I get to the point where I say ‘to hell with it– if I just take the first step and start posting it, I’ll be able to get past this.’

          Biggest lie ever fucking told.

And so I begin to gradually discourage myself. Any confidence I had in my story dwindles, and I eventually quit working on the project altogether.

I’m working on taming this sort of attitude. I do realize every writer has this sort of ‘demonic inner critic’– and most writers on here manage to shuffle their way past it, without taking their story down.

For now, however, I am going to take down the newer chapters of AD and leave the book as a prologue and first chapter. This unfortunate development is just until I can be happy (or ‘happy enough’) with what I’m writing for it.

Think of it as a teaser.

Until then; you can expect a book of one-shots (otherwise known as a ‘compilation of short stories’) to mosey it’s way onto my account at some point. (It’s good to get some practice in, here and there)

If you’ve made it this far, thank you for reading, and have a blessed morning/evening/night.

          Happy writing. <3

I hope you have a wonderful day and weekend, as well, and have fun writing the sequel! I’ll definitely pop over to read it, when I’m done with the first. ;)
