Hey friends, I thought I would enter the Open Novella Contest again this year. Inspiration for this story came out of two things:

          	(1) I'm tired of science fiction always taking place in the future; and
          	(2) I wanted to write some stuff bouncing off the Dead Sea Scrolls, because 1st century fringe Jewish movements are WILD.

The real question is this. Have you ever wanted to read a story that combines Astrophysics with the eschatological War Scroll?! Of course you haven't! That's way too particular and bizarre!

Well, maybe you'd like to read a story like that now. Here it is: The Host of Luminaries.

Hey fam!

I'll be updating The Mountains Sang their Silent Melody soon! My fingers are crossed for an update this weekend. This past week I've been bogged down by schoolwork. Today alone I'm writing an entire exegesis paper (10/10 would not recommend). Anyway, thank you for your patience!

Hey everyone! Check out my submission for the #Opennovellacontest :

The Mountains Sang their Silent Melody

Precocious nine-year-old Frances promises to help their friend Ophelia find her mother, who left for the city five years ago. In their valley town, this proves to be more difficult than the two imagined. Where sympathetic adults are few and far between, and the justice order called the Corpus is apathetic at best, Frances turns in desperation to the mountains. Strange things have been known to happen in the mountains. It is said to be a place where spirits linger, and where raw, natural magic permeates. People who venture to the mountains' foggy heights find what they are looking for. Or else, they find what they deserve ...
