I have a brand-new idea for a story (not poetry omg)! Since I have a whole gaggle of 4 followers, I thought I'd take a poll to see if y'all like my idea.

Tyree is a Mashkat, and he is not proud.
Being a blue-skinned monster that was abandoned by his kind because he was too clingy and his wings are practically useless is not an easy identity to accept, especially in such a confusing human world. Taken in by his guardians Winnie and Danny, he begins to lead a life as a human boy, but of course this isn't an easy road. English is hard. His emotions are hard. Understanding religion is hard. Math is hard. Money is hard. Grief is hard.
Understanding how the rewards outweigh the restraints of love, when his instinct says to be alone and free, is hard.
Tyree, at age 14, is off on a big, scary new adventure in high school, where emotions conflict, values are questioned, smiles are shared, fists fly, hands are held and tears are shed. Tyree had always wanted to be human, but as the gap beteeen "me" and "everyone else" gets wider, he asks himself; is being human really a good thing?
