I just wanted to post to apologize about the lack of activity, and to thank everyone who’s commented on my work—seriously, thank you, you have no idea how much it means to me.
          
          Creatively, I’m in a bad place, hence the lack of updates. I do have more written, but a lot of what’s been posted and drafted is actually several years old, and I’m uncertain of the direction the story is going in now. I don’t want to share something that I know is going to be gutted, or something that I can’t put 100% of my love and effort into.
          
          Hopefully this phase passes soon. In the meantime, thank you guys so much for reading and giving me such wonderful feedback. It really makes my day when I see it.

WHOA. Hi guys. Y'all came out of nowhere!
          
          I had the first several chapters of SotS sitting up here for a while, but hadn't bothered to update further because it wasn't getting any engagement--and now that my story got featured somewhere, you guys are actually reading it! I can't tell you how much that alone means to me, like seriously.
          
          I'll resume updating soon--I left the next several chapters alone for a while to look at them with fresher eyes--but you can expect a new chapter within a few days or so!
