Y/N and Lizzie used to be best friends in school until they both moved away. Y/N joined the military after graduation and Lizzie went to NYU. After a few years, Lizzie returns home and is invited to a party by her mum only to be reacquainted with Y/N who is currently on leave. They both get to talking again and start hanging out again like old times. Over the months and it coming closer to Y/N being deployed, Lizzie thinks she's running out of time and has to confess her feelings before Y/N leaves.
