Hi guys...it's definitely been a very long while. I hope everyone is doing good. I have been AWOL for the past...wow, four years! I almost can't believe it's been that long since I wrote. But, I missed it so much. And so I've started writing again. I'm drafting a new chapter of Made in Basalt. I've missed these characters, but I am a little rusty so please bear with me. I am hopefully announcing that the new chapter will be up hopefully within the next week. If any of my old readers are still around, I've missed you...and I notice that I do have some new readers commenting as well, so hello to you! And I will be back here soon, with another instalment of a story that really means the world to me!

I think people maybe hesitate to write feedback on stories when the writer has been AWOL for a long time, but actually chances are that writer will definitely at some point log back in and see them, and that feedback will truly make their day. As your feedback and excitement did. I appreciate your support so much and I can't wait to interact with you more going forward! I'm honoured that you're interested in GnR pics now - love that I'm a gateway drug lol. Keep giving me your feedback, it's my lifeblood! I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Hey, all. So I want you all to know that I'm still here, I've just been very, very busy and overwhelmed, and life has been kind of difficult these past few months. I'm still thinking of the story and I know where I want it to go, but I just haven't had the time to write. Like at all. And I don't know if or when I will. I tried today, I had a day off so I thought I'd give it a go, but it wasn't much, really. It was kind of inconsequential. So I don't really know what's going to happen, but I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who's read and commented. Particularly xyliana and lali, who've been there since day one, your excitement and feedback for each chapter really makes me so happy. I re-read your reviews when I'm feeling down about myself, and I just appreciate it so much, even if I don't always respond on time or at all, or in enough detail.

Thanks, hun. Looks like bitching at myself has gotten the old creative juices going again, though, because I've churned out a full chapter! Not a great one, mind, and it's gonna need editing, but it should be up sometime soon. Hopefully by this time tomorrow. Or hell, maybe even tonight.

@Slaxl19 Hey, I'm glad you updated us! Was gonna give it another couple weeks or so and drop a line to check in on you--been worried since you haven't been around. Take your time and do your thing. Life can suck sometimes and doesn't always allow for the right creative mindset. I know mine hasn't lately, so I feel you there. Glad I can at least be a little pick-me-up in the comments! Hope things calm down on your end; we'll be here! Take care! :)
