I feel as if a lot of the Mai goal of RWBY was basically scrapped halfway through. Volume 3 and went a whole different direction. You can tell by volume 4 and volume 5 that they just threw together the whole "adventure to Haven" thing as a last-minute call because they needed something else to start with rather than have them rebuild Vale, or stick around for it at least. Felt like that's a huge thing they completely dropped and only dropped a mention of Vale here or there to drive this whole new thing.

I could be reading into this too much, but the whole thing was just off-putting. They destroy one school, and then all of a sudden, for no reason at all, Haven is the next to get hit instead of, I don't know, continuing the search for the Beacon relic?! It gets brought up ONCE in Volume 4, and that's when Salem is demanding Cinder to give her answers, and then ONCE in volume 5 when Ozpin explains the relics to Teams Rwby and Jnr. Other than that, Beacon gets left in the dust as if it never existed. Then, after Haven, it's immediately off to Atlas because they're obviously next. Yet they had salem talk about Vacuo and Shade for a second before they just decided Atlas would have been better.

And then Haven, just like Beacon, is all but forgotten. They create a story, then bury it immediately after its finished, no callbacks, no connections just, "This is done, now let's completely forget everything that happens and create a whole new story. Of course the big bad still needs the maidens and relics, UT that's it. Nothing more."

It REALLY bothers me that they just do this shit every time.

Whether they intended for Adam to turn I to an obsessive ex-boyfriend or not, we'll never know. However, as I'm going back through the older seasons for Adam's character, it's as if he does a complete 180. Sure, at the end of season 3, he's taunting Blake, but it feels more like empty threats meant to try and get her to lose her focus and see if she'd run like before, or stay and fight him.

Slayer_48

As I continue to move forward with another chance, I've come to the realization that Adam is basically just Eren but more hot-headed. There will definitely be a meeting between these two at some point later, but not in the typical sense of things.

So the newest chapter of Another Chance, should be available to read now. I was not aware that the whole chapter had deleted itself. Luckily thanks to old drafts saved i was able to quickly restore it. Sorry about the confusion

Something that makes Attack on Titan superior to other anime is its ability to make its characters strong, but not ridiculously strong like Son Goku or Satorou Gojo, to where it Overshadows its Overall Story.

Eren is simply a man who just so happens to be able to turn into a 15 meter tall monster, but it isn't like reality level power. It can be easily countered but also stay relevant to the story.

By not making Eren or his friends ridiculously Over Powered, Isayama has the ability to tell an intriguing story that actually has an Amazing plot not built around powers or getting stronger, but rather about how a man and his fight for freedom can be taken to the extremes.

So when others ask who I think a good protagonist is, I always think Eren, or Batman. Because they are just humans, who are able to do some incredible feats that don't overshadow the overall plot as well as the interesting side characters.

It's why other anime like Naruto or One Piece get the hate they do because, like Dragon Ball, they have managed to leave behind their plot to make their characters more OP than anything else. Which is where Anime like Demon Slayer, Attack on Titan, Bleach, and Vinland Saga, to name a few, actually are praised because they didn't try to overshadow their main story and focused on all the side characters as well to help develop and push the story forward, creating a masterpiece.

So, it's been a while I guess...

Tbh I kind of started reading fanfic when I was young, like, real young. I was online researching rwby and was introduced to the world of Fanfiction.

Honestly, I fell out of it shortly after I started. I wrote a book, that was cringe as hell if you ask me, and decided to look around at other stories, that's what lead me to other Anime.

AOT, or SNK, was actually the first Anime I watched when I was a little kid. Scared the piss out of me when I first watched Eren's mom die. And titans were things out if my nightmares. I eventually stopped watching after the first season was finished. And a few years later, when I just got into rwby, I'm thrown back into that show. I had completely forgotten about it, that I even watched the entirety of the first season again.

Now it's over, and it's honestly above all other Anime in my opinion, and I've watched shows from JJK, FMA, Demon Slayer, Naruto, etc. You get the idea. The idea amd meaning of AOT is honestly deeper than most other Anime are willing to go.

We must be willing to accept that things may never be the way we wish, so we must do the things we can to ensure the people we love and care about can go on to live their lives even if you lose yourself to it. I think that's what makes Eren Yeager the best Protagonist/Antagonist in Anime, because of how Complex and deep his character really is. Going from a kid with dreams of freedom, to a man who would do whatever it took to protect those he cared about, even if it was wrong.

AOT has inspired me in many ways, and that has brought me back to here, and with a New Story that I will try and dedicate time to.
