I read through and I have to tell you the same things being told to me. It's in the details. In which there are very little so far. I have a hard time with it too but remember: you're painting a picture with words. explain what's going on. why is she hated? What's around her? there has to be reasons for her parent(s) to treat her like crap. on top of that there's no scenery. you have to describe the scenery to an extant so people know what's happening and what the world is like.

Me personally wanting to write a book you need to keep an open mind and always be up to ideas and find something that makes you happy to write about
