@SlutForToxicRomance5 that’s soo weird but yea id say they’re bots or maybe they’ve just deleted their books and conversations idk

@PennyOsullivan it makes sense coz you got tons of books in that one reading list of yours. But mine aren't really that much compared to the people that have been here for less time than me.

Also, this reminds me of a time, few months ago, an account followed me. The had like 20k followers, only about 100-200 following, no books, nothing in their conversation boards, and idk not even any reading lists. Like NONE. I got intrigued by that account, so I followed it back. After that, some more random accounts started to follow me who also had around 10-30k followers with similar profile stats lol. Also, those accounts had their bio in Arabic language. Idk why but I think those accounts might be bots

hey, here’s what i found in my notes about the frontal cortex and its development. i just pasted them below.

          “The dual system model (LO10)
Risky behavior reflects development of emotion and cognitive control systems:
Limbic system – drives sensation seeking to obtain emotional rewards. Develops quickly. We seek things that make us feel good. The emotion which is driven by the limbic system develops quickly.
Prefrontal cortex – regulates the limbic system. fully develops at 21 years. Acts to inhibit centers. Slower development leaves a time where emotional rewards seeking in high emotion

          Dual system model (LO10)
Risky behaviors occur when sensation seeking is stronger than the brain systems that control it.”

You can look up the Dual System Model since it can show you a visualization of what the explanations above mean.

It could be that since the prefrontal cortex is part of the frontal lobe itself, it develops sooner than the rest of the whole lobe. but that conversation did not come up during the lectures and this was all we discussed about the frontal lobe in terms of development.

feel free to ask any questions. i hope this helped.
