Currently in a debate whether to immediately post the first chapter or to finish the whole book and than posting it since my motivation comes in waves and I personally always hate it when I have to wait ages before something gets updated

@Slutforromanoff it's your choice! You can also write like a bunch of chapters first and you post 1 every week or so. Then you have loads of time to write new chapters

Does anyone have tips for keeping up motivation to keep writing your fanfics and keep updating them?

I write everyday. It doesn't have to be hours. It can just be five words. It really helps me keep writing! But what @UncannyWormCritter says also helps, taking walks, listening music which gives off the vibe you want for your fanfic, with this you can come up with ideas!

Honestly? It doesn’t work for everyone, but always make sure to take breaks, especially if you’re feeling overwhelmed. Get some fresh air, taking walks usually helps me :))
